J.A. Agamao (AJ), Chief Executive Officer and founder of A.S.S.E.T. Security Inc. is a retired Correctional Sergeant with twenty one years of experience with the California Department of Corrections. AJ began his career at Soledad State Prison then worked his way up to Salinas Valley State Prison (Maximum Security Prison). S.V.S.P. which was considered one of the most violent Prisons in the country. AJ's desire for upward mobility propelled him to take advantage of all the training opportunities that were available by the Department. He became an expert in specialized weapons and tactics. As a result, AJ became one of the top instructors in using lethal and non-lethal force. He was recognized as an outstanding employee; therefore, he was given the opportunity to be part of an elite “Special Emergency Response Team”.

Alan Tucker, Chief of Operations and Co-Founder, has 30 years of reputable experience in law enforcement. He was an integral part of the first Tri-County SWAT team Training program as he spent 12 years instructing individuals who trained at the MOUNT Facility. For his excellent service, he eventually became the Commander of SERT. Agencies included County and local Police, Sheriffs, FBI, Military Police and Marines. He was selected to be one of the state wide Team Leaders for evaluating the Emergency Operations Programs for institutions throughout the State of California, ensuring proper protocol was followed in conjunction with the National Incident Management Systems (NIMS). He won an award for working with law enforcement officers in Humboldt County and on the boarder of Mexico tracking drug smugglers. He also served as the Commander for the Special Emergency Response Team. During his career, he was awarded Peace Officer of the year honors.
Business Manager
Dave Ellis, Business and Operations Manager, has over 30 years of professional experience as a business manager providing educational sales, exceptional customer service and Technical Support for businesses. He has held positions as director of workforce programs, director of the Silicon Valley high tech apprenticeship initiative, Career Center director and director of community/corporate education. As the fiscal manager for the state and federal grants, Dave has helped public and private businesses train their staff in the latest technologies so that their company remains competitive and retains their top talent. His recent role at Mission College involved establishing the first of its kind apprentice program at Valley Transportation Agency (VTA) in Santa Clara County. Today, the VTA program is known as a “model” in California
and is being replicated at other transportation agencies to include AC transit, Golden Gate Transit, SF Muni and SamTrans.
